No so much a Grade as an installation specification, A325X Bolts are specified when standard ASTM F3125 Grade A325 Structural Bolts are to be installed with the Bolt’s threads outside of the assembly’s Shear Plane. Available in Plain Steel and Hot Dip Galvanized.
