Bolts & Cap Screws
- Hex Bolt: Hexagon headed fastener designed to be used with a nut to clamp two or more parts together. The bolt is inserted through unthreaded holes, and tightening the nut creates the clamping force.
- Hex Cap Screw: Hexagon headed fastener with precisely formed threads and bearing surfaces, designed to be tightened into a tapped (threaded) hole or used with a nut when needed. It can be tightened by its head, not just the nut.
- Carriage Bolt: Round head, square neck bolt designed for wood connections. The square neck prevents rotation during tightening.
- Hex Lag Screw: Heavy duty Wood Screw with a hexagonal head and thick, coarse threads designed to be driven directly into wood.
- Hex Tap Bolt: Fully threaded Hex Head Bolt
