Tamper Resistant Nuts
Tamper Resistant Nuts are designed to be installed and removed with special tools. Often used to help prevent theft and tampering with on equipment, signs and other installations in public places.
Breakaway Nuts are a non-removable type of Tamper Resistant Nut. During installation the hex nut breaks away when tightened leaving only the tamper-resistant conical portion. No special tool is required. Uses a standard wrench for installation.
