An ASTM A307 Grade A Zinc Plated is a low carbon steel, general purpose Fastener with a thin electroplated zinc layer for basic corrosion protection.    
 
Common Applications:
  • General construction and maintenance
  • Equipment and machinery assembly
  • Electrical and plumbing supports
  • Furniture and hardware connections
  • Light framing or non-critical joints
  • Dry indoor or mild outdoor environments
Zinc Plated Steel Fasteners feature a thin electroplated zinc coating that provides moderate corrosion resistance. Best suited for indoor and mildly dry outdoor conditions. Prolonged exposure to moisture or humidity can degrade the coating and lead to corrosion.
