Finished Hex Nuts are one of the most common and widely used types of Nuts. Often referred to as “Standard Hex Nuts” they are thinner than Heavy Hex Nuts and thicker than Jam Nuts.

Often Paired With:
  • Hex Head Cap Screws
  • Threaded Rods
  • Machine Screws
  • Carriage Bolts
Brass Finished Hex Nuts are made from a non-magnetic alloy that’s about 2/3 Copper and 1/3 Zinc.

Known for their lustrous finish, electrical conductivity, and good general corrosion resistance (though not ideal for saltwater exposure), Brass Finished Hex Nuts are widely used in the electrical and communications industries, as well as in builder’s hardware and certain limited marine applications.
