Grade B6 - Stainless steel, AISI 410, heat treated
ASTM A193 Grade B6 refers to Bolts, Studs, and Threaded Rods made from 410 Martensitic Stainless Steel (AISI 410) that have been quenched and tempered to improve strength and toughness. Used where strength and heat resistance are needed more than corrosion resistance.
General Applications:
Power Generation: Steam turbines, boilers, flanges
Petrochemical / Refinery: Heat exchangers, pressure vessels
Machinery / Equipment: Pumps, valves, high-pressure flanges
General Industrial: Elevated-temperature bolting in steel systems
