Pan Head Sheet Metal Screws are self-tapping, sharp-threaded fasteners designed to attach thin materials such as sheet metal, plastic, or wood. Their pan-shaped head features a flat top with gently rounded sides, resembling a shallow frying pan, hence the name.

Common Uses:
  • Machinery assembly
  • Equipment and appliance manufacturing
  • Architectural and construction hardware
  • Marine and outdoor environments (light exposure)
  • Automotive and agricultural machinery
Type A Sheet Metal Screws are Self-Tapping, meaning they can cut or form their own threads in the base material (usually sheet metal, plastic, or wood).

18-8 Stainless Steel is an Austenitic Stainless Steel Alloy that contains approximately 18% chromium (Cr) and 8% nickel (Ni). 304 Stainless Steel is the most common and widely used member of the 18-8 family, and the terms “18-8” and “304” are often used interchangeably in reference to Stainless Fasteners and Components.
