Finished Hex Nuts are one of the most common and widely used types of Nuts. Often referred to as “Standard Hex Nuts” they are thinner than Heavy Hex Nuts and thicker than Jam Nuts.

Often Paired With:
  • Hex Head Bolts
  • Threaded Rods
  • Carriage Bolts
  • Anchor Bolts
SAE J995 Grade 2 refers to a standard specification for low or medium carbon steel nuts that defines their mechanical properties, material composition, and strength levels.

Hot Dip Galvanized Nuts Fasteners feature a thick zinc coating applied by dipping the nut in molten zinc (~450°C / 840°F), creating a durable corrosion-resistant surface. Hot Dip Galvanized Nuts are tapped oversize (threads cut larger) which allows them to fit properly on galvanized bolts after coating.
