ASTM A307 Grade A Hot Dip Galvanized Hex Bolts are one of the most common types of general-purpose steel bolts, especially for construction, light structural connections, and outdoor applications.

Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) Bolts feature a thick zinc coating applied by immersing fasteners in molten zinc (~450°C / 840°F), producing a durable, corrosion-resistant surface. To ensure proper fit, HDG Bolts and Nuts must be matched correctly. HDG Nuts are tapped oversize to accommodate the thicker zinc coating on the bolt threads.
